Question sentiment shadow effect

I'm looking for different sentiment styles. whether it be with a stamp positioner, shadow stamping or whatever. Could a person achieve the same shadow effect using a stencil and shadowing with script alphabet?
I like this style, but, would wonder if there is too much of a chance of error with a paintbrush versus a 'dauber' she has done it wonderfully well, here:

these are the stencil alphabet this comany has a ton of them:

Do you have any shadowed letter styles on cards made? love to see them

I think I have my slow head on today Carolyn as I'm not understanding what you're asking. Is this basically two separate questions? I don't see any shadowing effect on the one you've linked to so I'm not sure.

As to dauber vs paintbrush, her secret is to have her stencil adhered all the way round so the colour doesn't seep underneath (that's why she's used the Post-It sheet with the adhesive all over, not just Post-It notes with the adhesive strip at the top). If you wanted to do something similar with a commercial stencil like the ones you linked to, I guess you could try with a repositionable spray adhesive on the back but you'd need a fairly "chunky" lettering style to do what's she's done.

For shadows, you could try stamping your sentiment, then repeating the stamping, slightly offset, in a paler colour? Or stamp in clear/white, then heat emboss in white/clear powder, then softly sponge some colour over the top. Ombre you could do by blending markers onto your stamp before stamping.

Pleased to help! This card is the sort of thing I meant about double stamping in two shades- its an image , not a sentiment, but you get the idea.

Stunning, you could also try double stamping so rather then reinking shifting over slightly and restamping, less ink on your stamp would give a light image.

I guess I need to practice more with a stamp positioner for Jukies' suggestion;
a new project now that school is out and off for the summer, thanks

If you print your sentiment from the computer, there are various fonts that have a shadow effect, or you can select different effects from the font options.
