I purchased a emboss powder that is chocolate scented recently, it was pricey though. If there is a way to do this without paying twice as much for the powder I would love to know too.

Default scratch n' sniff

I think I saw someone use kool aid powder mixed with clear embossing powder. I have never done it.

Its pretty easy to do. You mix 1 1/2 part clear embossing powder with 1 part any no sugar flavoring (kool aide, jello, hot chocolate, etc. etc.). Then stamp your image with craft ink or versamark and emboss as usual. You'll have a little bit of a grainier texture but it still looks good. I just did this with the orange from tart and tangy and orange crystal light, its wonderful. HTH

I have a question...is it just the unsweetened kool-aid powder or is it powder that has aspartame or splenda in it? I tried the latter and it didn't work at all.

It is just the unsweetened powders, because the sugar (I am not sure about splenda though..) will brown if heated in a sugared drink mix. I tried cocoa for a choc. scented card and it worked great, but I did tweak the measurements to add more clear ep than it called for. I used about 3 1/2 tsp. clear ep to 1 tsp cocoa. This sealed it well, and it was less grainy.

There is a company in Chattanooga, Tn. called print and scent. You can order stickers of all sizes and all fragnances.
They are great. I use them on all my cards.

I love the idea of kool-ade smelling cards...I'm going to have to share this with my students.
