Default Lots of Thoughts

I have the SU Lots of Thoughts stamp set. When using a stamp from that set, how can I stamp just one line from the stamp e.g. "Merry Wishes" without stamping "tis the season" "season's greetings" etc. There has to be a quicker and more accurate way than inking one line with a marker.
Thanks!

I've seen people cut them apart and use clingfoam and a clear block or order wood blocks from The Block Guy: http://www.mycreativeramblings.com/t...etimement.html if he has any left.

Yes, I also got brave and cut up quite a few stamps that had multiple things on them. I get lots more use from them this way. I have taken them off the blocks and just use double stick tape and an acrylic block.

Can you mask the text you don't want with tape or a sticky note, ink, then remove the mask and stamp? This works really well when you want to stamp just part of an image. The only tricky part is that you need to remember to remove the mask before you stamp, or you big a big ugly smudge. (Ask me how I know . . . ) Depending on the stamp, you might also need to use a stamp positioner (like Stampamajig) to get the image in the right place, but give it a try! Hope this helps!

I've read of people cutting up stamps including this particular set. Personally, I have each one stamped on vellum for using with the stamp-a-ma-jig, so positioning isn't a problem. And if I want just one line, I mask the others off with sellotape, ink the whole thing and pull the sellotape off before stamping. Someone gave me this set,and I love it.
