Default Question about Polished Stone

Should I spray the finished product with a Krylon fixative so that the metallic ink doesn't wipe off? When I touch it (even though it is dry) the metallic ink comes off on my fingers. Anything else I can do to keep it on there? I tried heating it with my heat gun but it didn't work. Did I not heat it long enough?

TIA!

I use the Krylon Fixative to seal the metallic ink
