Default Question about crayon resist

I was wondering if anyone has used this technique as a rubbing instead of ink. I got a resist pad, but it wouldn't work on regular cardstock. Maybe it will only work on glossy paper. Any suggestions or tips would be great!

Crayon Resist works best on Glossy CS

Stamp image, apply crayon where you want the resist, then brayer or add additional color with a sponge.
