I am working today and a woman that I'm working with has been searching for the explosion card template forever and can't find it. I assured her that surely someone on this site knows... so if you read this and you know where I can find instructions for making an explosion card... please post the site so that we can find it for her. She's making some for christmas gifts and is starting to get a little anxious about not having a pattern. thank you all so much.

I recently made 12 of these for a swap and used a template from this site: http://www.stampingpro.com/
click on the idea tab on the left and you will see a list of great ideas with nice instructions. This template fits into a standard SU card size and is not a purse design. I made my explosions from 7" squares, but you can experiment with the size and see what works best for your project.

I have a heart template I got at a stamp shop. It is by Stamp Your Art Out, but I don't think they sell to the public.
