Default Pergamano (parchment crafting)

I went to the stamp arts tour in Rockford 2 wks ago and saw the demo for this technique with vellum. Of course I had to buy some supplies!! I searched the gallery and saw some beautiful cards made by some scs members.

Just wondering if u could give some hints, suggestions from your experiences with this technique. What glue do u use to adhere it to cardstock? Do u wrap the vellum around the front and back of the card and if so how do u attach it?

Thanks for your help.

I haven't tried this technique but when I'm using vellum I like to run it through my Xyron so that it's completely covered and you don't see the glue. I have yet to find a glue other than the Xyron that doesn't show through the vellum. Other than that I also attach it using either brads or eyelets.

Also wonder if you emboss over stamped images or like templates better.
