Could someone direct me to a tutorial for coloring?? I know it seems strange but I have prima and SU and watercolor pencils and still haven't perfected the technique. There are so many beautiful cards on SCS that are colored. Surely, someone has the technique and would share it please!! Thanks, Cheryl
I always use an aqua painter and I use a tissue just like in this video to take away excess water from the brush so the colour doesn't wash out. Also if the paper gets too wet it buckles. I have used this technique with pencils and pens.

I would suggest visiting http://ilikemarkers.blogspot.com for lots of great coloring tips, etc. Now, this blog is all about using Copic Markers to color, but you can take a lot of her advice and apply it to other mediums. She talks a lot about how to color things, white (like wedding dresses), shadows, bushes, grass, most recently was gold.... She's a very thoughtful teacher, breaks things down well & gives good explanations. You just have to be willing to try it with your own goodies!

Good heavens you are talented! I LOVED your tutorial- my H2O's are screaming to be painted over colored pencils! Do you color with the pencils just regular, like out of the box, or do you do the Gamsol technique in coloring with them?

I think this place is very good for showing you how to color with watercolor pencils:
