Hello! In a lot of videos I've seen ladies use a black template for paper piercing. Can someone tell me where to get it? Is it from Stampin' Up? Thanks!
Yes, it's Stampin' Up's MAT PACK. I believe you can buy it separately or in a combo pack with something else.
I don't have one, YET. What I've been using is a square and circle plastic form which, I believe, is used for some sort of needlecraft. I use these with a piece of heavy-duty foam that I got with a package of large brads. It works but it sure would be nice to get the 'real thing'.
Yes, Stampin Up has their Mat Pack, which comes with a paper-piercing pad, paper-piercing template and eyelet setting mat, each 4"x4". It's $9.95 in their current catty. If you buy their Crafter's Tool Kit for $39.95, you get a bunch of tools and the mat pack in a zip-up tool kit case. HTH.
i perfer this option because with the mat pack you have to keep moving down for a longer length than the template, and i never seem to match it back up right, too much hassle, just like the bigger mouse pad mat, and the plastic canvas and a push pin tack setup.

I use one of these with an old Mouse pad. And it works great for me.
