If you happen to think of it or can figure it out, I would really appreciate it if you could share it with me.

I did about a month ago and have never heard back. The card was posted in 2008.

It looks like they did paper weaving. Here's a sample:

Default Teabag fold quilt card

Did it! (I will do a complete tutorial on my blog this week, but this is the quick and dirty if you want to figure it out!)

16 teabag folded squares, but only folded into triangles, not with the little "wings" folded up.

Make four pinwheel units from four triangles, sliding the loose ends of one triangle into the pocket of the triangle next to it. The second picture shows how they start to go together. You will need to push them all the way in so they are squared up.

Slide the four units together, again sliding the loose ends of the triangles into the adjacent pocket of the unit next to it.

Push the units tightly together (not shown). Add a brad at each center where the triangles meet.

Default Quilt front card tutorial

http://extremecards.blogspot.com/201...ard-front.html

The one in the gallery is made with smaller squares than my sample. You would just make more units.

The rule of thumb is this: the size of the square you start with is the size of the finished unit (not counting the "wings" hanging out). So if you start with 2" squares, your units would be 2". Use 9 of them (3 x 3) for a 6" card. You would need to make the card a little smaller (or add more units) if you want to use it on the diagonal like the one in the gallery.

I used this technique for a card, but used ribbon instead of paper. I loved the way it looked!

cpeep, thanks for solving the folding mystery. I thought it looked like origami but couldn't remember how to put it all together.

Default "Quilt" card for Easter

I made another one with smaller squares and put it behind an egg shaped aperture card.
