1/8tsp. of gum of arabic, 1/2 top of pearl-ex powder. and a little DISTILLED water. use a toothpick to stir ever so carefully. Have fun. You have to allow time for the mixture to dry before sealing. I made mine and some of the colors turned out flakey, but they still "painted"very nicely with the aqua painters. HTH Taishea p.s. use more pearl-ex if needed.

Any grocery store will have it with their gallons of bottled water. You're supposed to use it in irons also because it has no minerals in it. I never saw the use for it in my irons because they've always been $10 cheapies and the water for a year would cost more than a new iron. LOL

Man, that sounds like way too much work and investment. That's even what the person who did the 50 pots said. I have purchased them all little by little. I just recently purchased their very newest set of colors. They also know a lot more about color combos than I do, so I'll leave it to them.
the recipe that I gave does not cost that much. I bought the pearl-ex at a stamp shop and the gum of arabic there too. The pots of pearl-ex were 5$ each and the g.o.a. was 3 or 4. yes there is time involved, but if we already have the pearl-ex powders, this is not such a huge initial investment. I then went tp Michaels and bought a little empty paint strip--like the ones our kids get in those paint by number kits-- they were 2/.99. Not too much $ and you can use the mixture while it is wet too
