My son's class was told this year they need to make their own valentine holders at home. I've been waiting for an opportunity like this. So I was wondering if there might be instructions here for something like that, or if one of you incredibly talented stampers might have an idea to share with me? I would greatly appreciate any help or advice!

We just made these with our preschoolers!! You take a piece of contact paper sticky side up 18" long and use cutout hearts and just sprinkle them over the sticky side....then take a piece of contact paper that is 16" long and put it over the top - sticky sides together leaving an inch on each end. Fold the edges over to reinforce the ends. Fold the whole thing in half to make a bag. Staple or stitch the sides together...using a hole punch on the reinforced edges make a handle with ribbon or cord.

What about stamping a plain gift bag? I guess one the lunch box tins wouldn't be large enough, would it? Ooooh, and the above idea would be cool with GLITTER!
Hi...I am a daycare provider and we will be making Valentine holders this week. Take 2 paper plates and fold them in half. Fit one inside the other and sort of open them up a little. Next staple at the bottom to keep plates together and then staple on sides in the top. Round the upper corners with scissors (to make it look more of a heart shape) and then punch a hole in each side to add string for hanging. Children can decorate using stickers, stamping or glueing on decorations. Hang and let the valentines arrive. Just place them inside the pocket it creates. Simple but nice results.
Hope that may help.

You're all so awesome for offering me wonderful ideas for this! Thank you so much! Now I have a few ideas for what we could make for him. He really likes the contact paper idea, and I really like the idea of adding glitter and the red foil heart confetti, so we'll see if I can make a mock up of one using your instructions with paper. It doesn't sound too difficult, but we'll see what we come up with. Thank you again! If I can't master it, maybe I'll use the paper plate or gift bag idea. But you gals have definitely given me some wonderful ideas, so I thank you, and my son thanks you!!
