Long, long ago in a time when techniques scared me I bought supplies to make background using SU clear embossing powder and I bought some napkins!
Bring it current to I'm wanting to try the technique but I can't find anything in the tutorials section with regards to the very simple technique I want to do from long, long ago...
Is anyone able to help me find information or a youtube video of it being done? Simple, simple, simple please.

I, too, remember a tutorial being featured (maybe during Falliday Fest?) "way back when" in my earlier years at SCS, but can't put a finger on what one it was.

No, but the first one looks easy enough for me to try!
And yes, way back when....when I was so afraid to use embossing powder because I couldn't remember the steps to be successful...today i tried something from memory and chuckled at myself knowing there had to be an easier way!

But, I would be hesitant about using an adhesive sheet BEFORE embossing unless I was sure it was heat resistant. I know at least one of mine isn't. And if you're remembering from way back, it could be before adhesive sheets were widely used. I've definitely seen something similar with clear sparkle embossing powder too. I'll have a look...
SU order from 2014, I must have had great hope of making lots of napkin cards!
With 3 napkins in the box were 3 jars of Heat & Stick powder and 3 jars of Dazzling Diamonds Glitter....
What a mess I've made making one background...
Im following the directions on the heat and stick...the glitter expanded once it was used and getting it back in the jar reminded me why I prefer ink, paper and rhinestones!!!!!!

This was perfectly timed and sent me off to search for the technique I remember using so many years ago. The perfect timing is because I have some beautiful napkins that I want to use for a class and this will cause that to happen.
That looks easier and less messy from what I've been doing! Yesterday I bought a glue stick so yeah...I'm ready for a new way to use napkin cards...now to buy some pretty napkins!

Guys,
I remember something easier.
~ Take your designed napkin and unfold. Then iron to ge the 4 creases out.
~ Pull apart and cut out the squares you want
~ Now take your clear ink or embossing ink and ink the heck out of that napkin quarter.
~ Cover that quarter with embossing powder. I used powder with glitter and it turned out awesome!!!
~ Use your embossing heart gun, carefully, to make the napkin shineie.
Now you can use it to create something beautiful and cute!
