I have never done it, but I found some instructions. It sounds easy enough:

Try brayering ink over bubble wrap, popped or unpopped, then lay your cardstock over this and press firmly---tada! Beautiful. Also, for a tree bark look, use the foam packing sheets you get in packages with the same technique. I have also used onion bag netting, rubber bands put onto my brayer in random patterns, plastic wrap, tin foil, and sponges to receive different effects.
