Does anyone know were I can get a good print-out of the directions for the mirror image technique and any other cool-looking techniques? I have been looking all over the internet for good tutorials but cannot find a thing! Please Reply!
Thanks for posting this link (and everyone else, especially Kari for the lists to techiques), but i still cannot find anything on the mirror image technique. I'm begining to think that it has a different name or something. The reason that i keep asking baout it is becuase i saw a card earlier on SCS and love it. Maybe if you see the card i am talking about, you'll know what the idea is. If you get a list of directions, PLEASE e mail me at [email protected]. You might want to check out these two threads and simply cut & paste the suggestions you like to your word processor.. then print
Both threads have helpful suggestions/directions on this topic.
Just so you know for future use... each forum... just above the postings... has a link "Search this forum" where you can go and type in keywords in order to do a search for templates/techniques... whatever you want to find. Hope this helps.

Stamp your main image onto the paper.
Re-ink the stamp and roll the brayer over the inked stamp die.
Roll the image, which is now a "mirror" image, under the main stamped image for the illusion of a reflection.
Another way:
Stamp your image on cardstock and then on velum. Turn the velum over and line the images up (one will then be a mirror image).
You can also get a large flat stamp (with no design). Stamp your design onto that, then use that to stamp. It will be a mirror image of the stamp. (Does that make sense?) Stampin Up used to sell a large flat stamp, but they retired it last year, but I have seen them other places.

When i do this, either on a brayer or acetate, des it matter what kind of ink that I use. DO i have to use a craft pad or can I also use a classic pad?

If you're working on acetate, use Staz-On; or some other solvent permanent type ink. Craft/Classic will not dry at all.
On the brayer, you can probably use either one, tho frankly, the acetate version of producing a mirror image has been the easiest method I've seen in 12 years of stamping.
