Talking Medallions

Actually found it when looking through cards for Cute & Curly! Under a blog called: Stamping with Kim! Wonderful medallion made with the new scallop punch!

Here's my example: medallion card I followed the tutorial from a couple of weeks ago. I cut my dimensions a little different though. My CS is 3" X 3". I found this worked better for me and gave me nicer corners and believe me, I punched through a FEW before I liked the end result.....lol What I did was, made sure I had both sides of my CS evenly spaced and punched basically in the middle of my punch. Turned the CS, punched again, etc. until all 4 corners were done. Very simple.
Edited to add: I embossed the middle of the medallion with my CB and my 2" X 2" CB folder. TFL!

Default nice card

I will have to try it this way also, maybe I didn't have the punch centered

I've done 2 medallion cards. the trick is I find is to have it so you see it facing up.. not looking at the metal upside down so you can line the card stock up on the grid.. eyeball it so it looks even on either side...

here are mind

After seeing this tutorial last week, I have made several cards using this technique. It's reaslly easy and fun. It also makes your cards look awesome. If I could ever figure out how to download one, I would.
