Red face Long Tag Punch??

I have seen in some cards that people are using the Tag punch but somehow getting the end of the tag longer? Am I missing something?? I have tried turning it every way possible and still cant seem to get it!! Help =)

cut a strp of paper the width of the tag punch, or slightly narrower. Slide this strip into the punch, and pull one end through the bottom flat edge of the punch . This way when you punch the bottom part won't cut, because it is not in the punch. That probably isn't very clear, but if you cut the stip and play with it, you should get it. If not there are a few threads on this, but I don't know how to link, some one is probably linking it for you as I type.
