Default Liquid Applique helpful hints

I have not yet been able to find this yet, but I am hoping to find it this weekend. I have found a few threads/posts on this, but I still am a beginner at this, so I am asking anyway...

Do you have to use the heat gun to get the applique puffy? What is the best way to use this for snow effects? I do not have a heat gun, could I use a blow dryer on a light setting?

I was going to use 2 way glue and glitter for a look on some cards, but saw may cards on this site with liquid applique and may try this as well.

I welcome your suggestions.

Nancy

Hi Nancy,

I really like Liquid Applique, but I've only used it one way. I apply it to the paper and then instantly use my heat gun. (I have never had the patience to leave it overnight to see what happens!)

With the heat gun it gives it this wonderful whipped marshmallow look and it's not sticky! It will squish a little when you put it in an envelope to mail, etc., but it depends on how thick you've applied it. A little goes a long way!

Have fun!
