Kittie747 is one of the super helpful artists here on SplitCoastStampers who usually shares this information in her comments under the card itself. Most of the cards I checked used Liquid Applique, while a few used CraftInk/VersaMark and White EP.
Also, sometimes if one reads the comments posted to the artist, s/he will find that another person has asked the very same question, and the artist has responded.
Hoping this helps... not only now, but in the future as well.

The one card says the snow is crimped paper. I think there is a wavy line crimper. Isnt there?

Yes, Bonnie, there is a wavy line crimper. The one I have is called "Lil Boss" put out by Paper Adventures. Unfortunately, mine will only crimp a 1/4 sheet going the narrow way... so if anyone knows of another company that makes a larger one, please do share

Hi Ladies, I'm sorry that I jsut saw this post. I am always happy to share any technique that I use. I'm not sure which snow you were referring to so here goes for both of my main ones.
1. Snow on the ground with WinterWhite embossing powder.
I use a small sponge dauber to apply craft white ink all around the area. Sometimes I even use a brush and brush on extra craft reinker to mkae certain areas look thicker. I then apply Winter White ep and heat. The Winter White ep is more full looking than white detail but they both work.
2. If I want a bumpier look for snow I use Liquid Applique and smear it around with the nose of the tube and even old paint brushes. Be very careful to not use a good brush as the stuff doesn't come out. It will leave the brush very stiff...alas...I use the same one over and over. The important thing to remember when using LA is that if it is too thick it heats into bubbly blobs. By spreading it out it takes on a more real snow look. Less is alwasy better as you can add more if you are careful not to over heat. You can burn it if you over heat.
For falling snow I use white craft ink and white detail ep. It is a more delicate ep and doesn't blob up the look of the snowflakes. OF course, you can use you Winter White also....it's just not as fine.

You can apply little dabs of snow or ice on trees, fences, etc by using a small delicate paint brush and small amounts of white craft reinker. Apply white ep and heat. It gives a great look. Check out the snow in the links below: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I have a wavy crimper that is full size by Marvy. I got mine at Joanns. It looks just like the one in the SU catty only it crimps wavy. HTH
