Default Jumbo Paper Clips

I went to a scrapbook convention and seen the cutest jumbo paper clips that were suitable for a gift for a teacher, office co-worker etc.

I came home and have cut out with my cricut little critters. I remember they had lots of embleshments on them, and have searched and searched for some photo's, to give me ideas of how to assemble these.

If you have created these that have photo's posted or have seen photo's posted, (directions would be great) I would be greatly appreciative.

I find my jumbo paper clips at walmart and target.....when other crafters have not beat me to the punch!

Thanks.

I just did a search of "jumbo paper clips" in the gallery and pulled up a lot of hits...

And here's the SCS tutorial on the altered clips....

Default love them

Hi,
the possibilities are endless with these clips. I made some with my cuttlebug flower dies, some with just the little larger prima flowers etc., etc. When I made mine I covered both sides to give them a more finished look. Like I've said the possibilities are endless. Just remember you should use E6000 glue to make them stay together, I learned that the hard way.

Have fun creating

You can also purchase the large paper clips at some Office Supply Stores....Office Depot, Staples. Some come on a stand too.

Do you think E6000 holds up better than hot glue?

Yes, I think so, since hot glue has the tendency to seperate from the chipboard if you use the clip actually as a bookmark.
IMHO I would use the E6000 over hot glue.;)

Hi,
you should be able to find it at any of the craft stores and even Wally World should have it. I have not been there in almost 4 years (being overseas:rolleyes: and they don't have a Wally here) . It comes in a gray tube and it has the word E6000 across. We have a tiny craft store here on Base and they are always out of everything but they had the glue, so I am sure you can find it in the states. Matter of fact even the hardware store should have it. I remember that Home Depot sold it.

Default E6000

Yes, it is available at Wally World in the craft department with the other adhesive products. It is relatively inexpensive - $2-3.00

Hope this helps!
