Default OSW questions, your help please!!!

My upline has never done this before nor does she demo scrapbooking SO...

I looked yesterday and found a few templates in the gallery but, none were with a 12x12 piece of cs. Anyone have one? do you think 12x12 is too much?

I have been playing with one of the templates from the gallery but, find that the scrapbook pages I have done with them look kinda "plain jane". And I could only get 2 two page layouts ou of it. Is that not enough?

I found that I also needed additional cs to mount pictures etc. Is it still a OSW if you add more cs and embellisments? And would you supply these at a ws? or just show what can be added to it to step it up?

I will be working with a few beginning scrapbookers... I just don't know. I haven't done a Scrapbook ws before so I am just worried it won't be WOW enough.

I just did a OSW workshop for cards. I think the idea behind OSW is that you only have to stamp one sheet of paper, and then the paper becomes the focal point pieces for all of your cards (or scrapbook pages). You definitely have to use more CS in order to mat and embellish, but the nice part is that your end result is perfectly coordinated.

Stamper Kari, I have done this for myself ( not as a class) following the patterns from Stampernali, and Stamper_Jamie. I used to have the links saved in my favorites, but somehow with the transfer to the new server the links are broken. Maybe you could pm one of them?

They turn out very cute!
In the mean time check out their galleries at

Smile OSW 6X6 Scrapbook

I recently held a stamp camp doing the OSW 6X6 scrapbook using the templates from C. A. Spinali. I've attached the template and the layout guide. It was time consuming and some of my stampers found it to be a lot, but several of them went home and started on more albums. They decided that in the future, they would break it down into smaller pieces. Stamp at one time. Cut at a later time. Put together at another time. They were really happy with it!

NOTE: 9-19-2005 - I just re-uploaded the files. Hopefully they will work now!

Smile help!

I can't seem to download the files? Could you possibly email them to me, if it's not too late! I would really appreciate it! I became a Stampin' Up! demo to learn how to scrapbook... that was over a year ago.. and I haven't done ONE SINGLE SCRAPBOOK PAGE!!! LOL! I'm addicted to cards!! LOL! My DH keeps asking "where are the scrapbook pages you were supposed to be making" LOL! Anyway, this template would be great... a perfect start for me.

Thanks!
Michelle

If you want to email it to me, please feel free [email protected]
Thanksagain!

Here's the 12x12 OSW pattern by Sereikastamper:

And here's a group shot of the 17 beautiful cards she made with it:

If you go through her gallery you can also view the individual cards (they were posted last October).

Hope that helps.

Thanks for sharing this great template! I have a ton of scrapbooker friends who would love to be able to do both... scrap and cards.
