There's a technique I'm planning to demo in a class next week and I can't find or remember the name. I'm hoping someonr here can help.
Heat emboss on glossy carstock a detailed, open image, like a flower. Spray the image with water. Drop ink from a wet brush in each open petal and let the color spread. Set aside or use a heat gun to dry.
Well, it's a resist and ink technique, with embossing powder the resist - the same can be done with watercolors or other mediums. But maybe someone else has a more specific name for you.
I remember that techinque! It was big a few (or more!) years ago using a pansy stamp or butterfly punch from SU. I think it was called Floating Reinker. I found a variation of it on Dawn Olchefsky's blog on April 21,2010. If you go back from there you will probably find the original, or just google the technique. Glad you asked...it's nice to revisit the okdies!
Selene Kempton on the stamping411 blog (03/17/2010) credits Crystal French as showing the idea at a SU event. There is a wonderful tutorial on the blog post by Selene. Lots of images come up on google, too. Hope you get this in time for your class!

I remember doing this, but don't recall that it was on glossy card stock? Now I want to try it again. OP, please relay to us how your class went, and details!
