Default I can't seem to get it!

OK, maybe I'm slow, but I can't seem to figure out how to do the stamped image on glossy with the resist technique. I saw at 'Aunt Amy's' how it was done, but I guess I didn't pay close enough attention. Here is what I do...I stamp the tree (Lovely as a Tree) on glossy, then do the versamark 'moon' at the top, and then brayer the whole image. The 'moon' shows up, but the tree goes away. :( I used craft for the tree, and classic for the brayer. I have also tried to use classic ink for the tree, and that still doesn't work! What am I doing wrong????!!!! Help!

For resist you either need to clear emboss the image after stamping, or stamp with versamark. Try the resources section at the top of the page to see what it is you are trying to do.

I have done something like this, what I did was used SU classic black ink to stamp my image that I did not want the resist look then I took a sponge and rubbed it on my colored classic pad then I rubbed the sponge all over my glossy paper. I did not have any trouble with the black going away. Be sure to let it dry before you rub it.

Don't forget you can also color the image with white crayon or metallic pencils before you brayer, and that will resist the classic ink.
