Default How to use chipboard

Ok, I"m sure someone has talked about this before but I couldn't find it.

My situation is I want to provide my ladies a good "list" of ways they can use chipboard...as in:

color with craft ink
paint with acrylic paint (can dye with reinker white)
cover with designer paper

how else can you "decorate" it???

Thanks!!!!

Tina

I have used both the Wild Hearts and Print Pattern BG to stamp directly onto the chipboard. Soft Subtles didn't show too good, Regals looked really good.

Any examples of this used on cards? I have a friend who purchased a set from SU and now we want to see what can be done with it. Thanks.

i use chipboard to bind books, or in the case of my last project, to make a book/card.
score a piece of chipboard down the middle. fold in half, stitch in a few sheets of paper to the inside. on the outside, do a faux leather technique (my favorite is the brown-bag technique)....write poems or whatever you want on the inside pages; emboss/decorate the outside to look like gilt tooled leather or leave it as plain. glue decorative paper on to the exposed chipboard on the inside of the book/card (or just stamp it with a pattern you like).
depending on how detailed you want the card to be, this can be a lot of work...but nothing compares to a small completely hand-made compilation of poems, memories, pictures, etc.

If you go to the top of this page and click on the word 'gallery', then in the little search box on the right-hand side type in chipboard, you should see many cards and other projects made using chipboard. HTH!
