Default How do you color your dew drops?

I have made some, love them. Used my alcohol inks and on some they have streaks where the ink didn't soak in. I am wondering what are some other ways to color the homemade dew drops? Thanks!

Somewhere it said to use waterbased inkers to color. I think the alcohol evaporates faster.

on homemade dew drops, after you drop the glue on waxed paper, take a toothpick and dip it in the ink, then into each dew drop. You don't want too much ink because then they will get too liquidy and not dry properly, but that will give full and consistent colour throughout the dew drop.

I have had a lot of success coloring them with permanent markers (Bic or Sharpie) they are a little more opaque, but I like them that way...
