Default Help with acrylic post it note holder

Good evening everyone! I have made one holder as a gift and the post it held really well. I have since made a couple more and can not get the post it note to stick for any length of time. I have tried used sticky strip and it still came loose. What am I doing wrong? I have a couple of these I wanted to give as Christmas gifts....therefore would appreciate any advice given. Thanks

if the sticky strip is coming loose, try cleaning the plastic surface really well before using the sticky tape - i haven't had any problems with sticky tape holding if the surface is clean - HTH!

Does the pad have a coated back sheet? Maybe the strip can't stick to it? If so, try re-mounting the sheets on another backing like CS.

I have had better luck attaching the notes with the adhesive at the bottom or side rather than the top of the pad. The side with the adhesive would be at the 3, 6 or 9 o'clock position rather than at 12. Make sense?

I use velcro. Hook on the frame and loop on the postnote pad. So when I change the pad I just put more loop velcro on it. darc

Thanks everyone for your advice. I have gotten the pad to stick by cleaning well and also turning my adhesive to the side instead of at the top. Also thanks for the tip about the velcro....would not have thought of this. I will give it a try on my next ones. Have a blessed and wonderful Christmas everyone!
