Default Ghosts in the Shadows directions

Help! I've seen some beautiful cards lately made with the ghost in the shadows technique, but I can't seem to locate directions on this technique anywhere. Can someone help me? Thanks!!!!

The cards I found in the gallery after searching look like simple versmark resist. Starting with glossy paper, stamp your image with Versamark, brayer on your dye ink, then stamp the same image with a darker colored dye ink. The Versamark resists the brayered ink so the white from the glossy paper shows through (though from my experience, the versamark picks up a hint of color so it isn't a true white that is left behind, but it *is* much lighter than the brayered color).

Gosh that was long-winded, hope it helped though

Just like Karen I think that you first use Versamark, stamp your image and then stipple or brayer ink over it. Take a piece of paper towel and rub over the entire piece of cardstock. The image stamped with versamark will resist the ink brayered over it.This technique is called ghosting or versamark resist. We will have a tutorial for that in a few weeks.
Then you use the same image, ink it up with a slightly darker color then you used for brayering/sponging/stippling over your versamark image, and stamp it slightly set off the versamarked image. That will make it look like the shadow images you see in the gallery.
