Ok, how many different techniques can we name using a brayer? I can think of Joseph's coat and bouncing brayer and brayered sky. Does anyone know the one with the rubber bands? What others are there? :?
Isn't there one called 'banded brayer'? Also, I don't know what it is called, but you can ink up your brayer, then mist it with water and roll it on matte paper for a watercolored bg., it is not required, but you could use it for crayon resist on glossy paper. I also use it for the 'ghosting' technique. Anyone else?
Thanks, that's one I hadn't thought of. I wrapping small rubber bands round mine last night and inking it up with certainly celery. It makes a design similar to maybe tall grass? Only the rubber bands pick up the ink. I want to play around with placement of bands to see what other designs I might get. Thanks again!
