Default Frosted Filters

Does anyone have the directions for the frosted filters technique? It was used on this card in the gallery:
Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
The Milwaukee Regionals was mentioned as to where the technique was used.
Thanks!
Brenda

I'm guessing that the "Frosted" part refers to the vellum...? I dunno...

I haven't heard of this before, but by looking at the details, I am guessing that after inking the coffee filter with reinkers, the white craft ink is dabbed on to create frosted areas. This is just a guess, but maybe this will bump it up to someone who has seen it.

The directions were on page 2 from that same post:
Here are some directions for this technique:

You take a paper plate and drip some reinker dots all over it. Then mist with water - quite a bit of water. Put a coffee filter on the plate and mist that some more. Scrunch the coffee filter up on the plate and dry it with your heat gun. Mine actuall started smoking...but didn't catch on fire or anything. Once the coffee filter is dry....apply the glue stick to your background cardstock (I used white). Spread the coffee filter out over the background piece and smooth out any wrinkles. Trim the excess off the edges and.....WAAAAAA LAAAAA

Good luck - if you check my gallery there is another card from the Milwaukee Regional using the Noble Deer set that used this same technique for the background.
