Question Fossil stone technique

So I've seen some really neat cards here using this technique but am clueless as to what it is. Is this smething new that I can't find, or a new name for a tried-n-true technique? Can someone help me out here?
Thanks Catie

Default polished stone

Thanks for that link, but yes it's fossil stone I'm looking for. I love polished stone, but this looked different but similar. I'm not sure if it's just a slight twist on polished stone or if it is done in a completely different way. Even though there are a selection of cards on the site using the technique I can't find it listed in the techniques section, which is unusual as this is the best place to find info on any technique.
