Default Faux Tile Technique???

Does anyone know how to do this technique without using a brass embossing plate? I have researched and researched but cannot find out how to do it. I have also checked in the Resource Forum but still no luck. Thanks so very much!!

Starving Artist Stamps has some mosaic tile designs. They would work well with this technique.

Although it is not embossed, here is one of my cards using their rectangle tiles. Friendship
Because these stamps work better with a slow drying pigment ink than with dye ink, it would be fairly easy to add clear embossing powder immediately after stamping.
I am going to have to try this now myself.

Faux Tile and Mosaic techniques are some of my favorites, and there are lots of ways to do them.

Here's a link to Technique Challenge (TLC120) "Grout Free Tiling:"

Forums at Splitcoaststampers

This VSN Challenge from June 2006 (JUNE06VSNB) was for Mosaics:

Forums at Splitcoaststampers

And this link is to an earlier VSN challenge from 2006 (FEBVSNC) called Mosaic Madness:

JanTInk's card here creates a tiled look using Avery Labels:

And you can do searches in the gallery on the codes for the above challenges to see lots of great examples.

Hope that helps!
