Default Faux Linen Issues

*sigh* For some reason my faux linen is not coming out nice at all. What am I doing wrong? It is very very subtle and barely noticible. I've tried different grits of sandpaper and making sure that I've rubbed all the gloss off and it really hadn't helped that much. Am I just expecting too much from this technique?

I've used the SU sanding blocks. Sometimes I have to give a bit more pressure to get the "grain"
Also, I think the light colors of ink, don't show as much.

Thanks I'll try more pressure and a different color.

Silver Dragoness--
You might be sanding too much. You don't want to sand *all* of the gloss off. Otherwise, you can't really see the "threads". When I did it, I could see the sanding marks on the paper even before I rubbed the ink over it. Rubbing the ink over it just makes it really obvious and easy to see. HTH!
