Default Embossing Powder

This is a video showing how to add color to clear embossing powder using alcohol ink.

YouTube - ‪Change the color of your embossing powder‬‏

Does anyone have any other methods they've used successfully? Just wondering if there are more options.

I've added Pearl-ex powders to clear ep. Works well, just keep the add-in at 25% or less of the total.

I've also added glitter to some of my embossing powders. It's nice to have some sparkle without having to go out and buy glittery embossing powder.

I've used Pearlex and coloured glitter in my clear embossing powders. I wish the video would have showed how well the mixed ep worked. I'm wondering if the heat will burn the ink. I know I got the heat gun a little too close on the one I had glitter in and it burned the glitter.
