Default Embossing Help!!

Can you heat emboss on the glass part of a picture frame? VERY new to this...thanks :p

probably, but the glass will get extremely hot and since it's so slick, you might have the stamp 'slip' on the glass.

does that mean just stamp with ink that will stick to glass and then emboss it...sorry...new new new at this

i have stamped on glass, but you have to watch how hard you
press on your stamp as not to smear the ink. The good thing
about stamping on glass is that if your image doesn't come out
the way you like it you can wipe it off (i use alcohol ) and try it again.

thanks Glenda...i thought embossing on a pic frame for a wedding gift would be unique...love you cat pic, my babygirl looks alot like that

If you use a stamp positioner, like the Stamp-a-ma-Jig, it makes stamping on any slick surface so much easier, as it pretty much eliminates the stamp sliding and smearing.

You can etch it on maybe. I am not sure if it would work but if you dipped the stamp in the etching liquid stuff, then stamp it on and let it sit (on the glass, not the stamp, haha) then rinse it off after the time is up? That would look nice I think. I just think that the heat from the heat gun might hurt the glass. If you do it, and it works, take a picture and let us know how it turned out!!!!
