The above links are all similar in style and the first three have directions or links to directions.
Hope that helps as I myself don't have the directions to the one in the Catty but these directions should help you in the right direction!
I think what they did though in the catty is to

1. Cut two pieces for each side of the box, with the window cut out from them.
2. Lay one window piece flat on the workspaceand add a loop of ribbon to the top and then one just up from the bottom...about the width of the ribbon...then in the next one it is opposite, the bottom loop it at the bottom and the top loop is just down from the top about the width of the ribbon.
3. Then they layered the stamped rayon mulberry and put the second window piece on top of that...thereby creating one side...
4. Do this to the four sides and stick those sticks through... I am not sure that this makes sense.
Perhaps I will try this now that I am thinking of it and if I get it I will send you a PM with the directions! LOL But try those links and see if they would do the trick for you! LOL Sorry I am not more help...

I've been making these candle screens for a couple of years. However, I found that the ribbon loops didn't work well. I started using eyelets in each corner and drilling holes through the dowels, then running leather cord (although this example uses wire... I didn't like wire very much) through the holes and eyelets, and then tying it on the inside. I also found cutting the frame was too timeconsuming. I bought a Sizzix and use the rectangle frame. This gives a larger stamping area, too. I use Vellum Cardstock in the frame. I have printed out images from the computer and stamped on them. These are a favorite amongst my family and friends.

Wow RT, that's gorgeous. Something else to add to the try list.

I don't have the 2002-2003 SU! Catalog, but I really like this version! But then, I love any project involving a candle. I can see why it's a favorite with your family and friends! Do you possibly have a picture of the other sides? What size dowels do you use, and what are the base measurements of the cardstock and vellum? If this is four-sided, how do the dowels in the corners stay upright if you're just tying them with the leather cord? Sorry for all these questions, but you know how we crafters are! Linda
