Default Decorated pens..

Ok..maybe it's just me..but i'm having a bear of a time trying to get these pens decorated with the designer paper inside! Is there a trick to these?
Either I cut the paper too long, too thick...too short ..I don't know.. maybe there's a tutorial somewhere? I want to do a matching pen/post it holder for an upcoming christmas class..but I can't get the pen thing right..
help!
Thanks!!
April:confused:

I find that the DS paper has to be one sided and thin, in order to roll well. Mostly, I stamp on copy paper and put that inside. On the RSVP pens, you really only need about an inch wide piece of paper. Hope that helps.

I found some papermate pens that are much cheaper than the rsvp's - they are $1.49 for 10. they are called Prism Stix. I cut the paper to 5/8" wide and the length is 4 1/4.

To make it wrap easier I take the ink tube out and wrap the paper around that. Then I take it off there and roll it in my hands to get it nice and tight. Then I stuck it down inside the barrel, and give it a little push with the end of the ink tube. The slip the ink inside and put the end back on the pen.
