I've never heard of a technique called crosshatching, but SU does have a background stamp called Crosshatch. You can find it in the gallery. I suppose, though, that it would be easy enough to replicate w/ the fine tip of a marker...hmm.
If there is a crosshatching technique out there, I'd love to hear about it, too!
