I'd give it a try. Since the end of school year is not that far off I am sure that the cards would go well as people always are looking for teachers gifts;)

I've sold altered paint cans at craft shows.

We did well selling the big ones for $15.00 and the small ones for $10.

We didn't have anything inside, but we did tie ribbons on the handle and included the paint key.

I did a spring boutique and brought Nugget Tins ($4.99) and Easter M&M Jars ($1.50) Both sold very well and both can be adapted to any season. Here are links to my blog for these two:

http://stamp2stamp2.blogspot.com/200...andy-jars.html

For my fall craft fairs I want to do some of the 3x3 cards in little purses too but haven't settled on a price.

Hey there....has anyone ever done summer festivals? I'm wondering what would be good sellers, since I probably don't want to do anything with chocolate due to the heat.
Any ideas, please post them here

THanks!

No, I don't have pictures. I am still working on my samples. I started my samples this past weekend but right now I am not in the right frame of mind to finish this week due to my BF passing away yesterday. So, hopefully this weekend I can get some complete. I will post pictures when I complete a couple.
Hi Robin, just a note to see how you are doing after your loss... Thinking of you!

Hello friends! I am always checking this thread for ideas, and now I have a new one. I made some wine charms out of polyshrink last weekend. I have a friend who owns a lingerie store and she sold them all in two days. They were so easy to make. I sold them for $2 each or six for $10. She said people were asking when she would have more in. She has had coasters of mine for sale there too. Had only sold a few sets until this week. The matched some of the charms. Now, she wants matching cards too. It might be a good idea to sell these in sets, coasters, wine charms, and a matching card. I just thought I would share!

Thanks for posting that link. I made some really cute ones with Changito monkeys and lingerie stamps, but the pictures came out blurry. I put little beads on the rings after I took the pictures.

Thanks so much for the link! These are adorable! I will be adding these to my table next fair season! This is such a great thread. I did my first 2 fairs last fall/winter with modest success but it was fun and I'm stamping anyway, right ;)

Default Craft Fair Items

I have to add: I took 45 paper clip bookmarks, the 4 inch ones, and sold out! I charged $3.00. Some had the paper ideas like here in the gallery, and others I used expoy stickers, and even small silk flowers!

I was able to find boy epoxy stickers, like football, baseball etc. These went first! Everyone was wanting smething for the boys!

Good luck. I am making 100 more for the event in April.

Yes, shrinky dinks are what you need for the charms.

Has anyone had any luck selling kids coloring cards? I made a bunch for an upcoming sale, but not sure what I should charge for them. I was thinking $1 ea.
For summer, I would suggest fourth of July themes, picnic themes, BBQ themes.
Cards, altered items, etc. I think you just need to change the theme of your things to the season. That's what I've always done. I am trying to figure out some iced tea kits for summer this year. Maybe some cards with flower seeds for spring.

I made/took 5 explosion/squash books to the fair I did in early December 2007. I had one open with the photos in it so people would know what to do with it. I demo'd it countless times but not one book sold. Everybody was amazed but nobody bought

Lana:

I have my first on May 21st! I am doing the nuggets, but will use tins to put notecards in too. I am making a bunch of the small note cards that SU makes. I am trying to decide how many to put in a tin and for how much.

Suggestions anyone?

I also think the cards would be a great a idea.
Also you can make mini survival kits . Teachers kits, headache kits , babysitting kits stuff like that.go into here and check them out. You can modify them if you want or customize it for someone.

http://www.sawyers-specialties.com/survival-kits/

Hard candy works as well.
wine charms.

I was thinking 8 cards and the tin for $16.00. The cards were just under 1.00 to make and the tin cost me 1.20 each.

Too high? Too low? UGH!!!! This has been driving me nuts.
