Hi, I just recently tried to make my first clipboard. I painted it with acrylic paint. After it was dry, I stamped with craft ink. Problem is when I tried to hod-podge it, the craft ink smeared. I have waited days now, but when I touch the craft ink, it still doesn't feel dry. Any suggestions? Thanks, Dawn
My heating/cooling vents are in the ceiling. I put my craft paint projects on top of my china cabinet while I sleep!
My friend has vents in the floor. She leans her projects against the wall behind them.
In an emergency, I've used a blow dryer....FROM A DISTANCE...on low to medium! Too much heat can affect the pigment. Unfortunately, I learned that from experience!
Ugh, I totally understand as I LOVE my white pad but it takes a year to dry. While browsing thru the new SU catty I noticed that a lot of their projects had white wording or decor on it. When I checked the recipe, they had the white craft pad listed as well as white EP. If you're going for a white design, maybe you could just go that route? That way it would be dry with a little bit of texture. HTH!
