Smile Can anyone help me?

I'm looking for the directions for tea staining paper. I've heard chatter about it but haven't found directions. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

I use an old, used, wet teabag and smash it all over white CS. Then I put it between a paper towel to absorb any moisture and put the CS and paper towel between two heavy books for a day or so until it dries. The CS will be warped if you don't straighten it out before it dries. Hope this is what you were looking for.

For more intense color and aged appearance, I've done it this way.

(1) Mix 1/2 c instant ice tea mix (plain - NOT the sugared kind) with 1 c water. Pour into a large flat container. I use a large cake pan.

(2) Place paper in pan, making sure it gets covered with tea. Lift out of pan and place on a flat surface to dry. I use brown grocery bags because they protect my table and whatever flat surface I can find.

(3) It's cool to leave drips and drabbles on the cardstock as you lay it out to dry. They add to the character of the piece.

You can do a LOT of pages with this batch of tea. I usually do a whole bunch in one session.
