I have done a microscope slide ornament, attach the 2 slides with tacky tape but I can't figure how to do the top loop to suspend it to my christmas tree...

I make a wire loop by wrapping wire around one tip of a needle nose pliars. I usually wrap it 2 times around. Then I cut off the ends leaving about 1/2 inch on each side of the loop. Looks kind of like this: ___O___ I put a layer of red line tape where I am going to put the loop. Stick the loop to the tape. Then put another layer of tape over that and all around the slides as you normally do.

Thanks, I needed that info too, but here's my dumb question, where do I find the microscope slides? Thanks for your help.

You could also check your local scrapbooking store.

Thanks for your help ladies. I love the way the ornaments look, but never found the slides. Now I have two options. Can't wait to get started.
