Black Stazon - vellum

Sorry all but I have another question...I'm learning SOOOO much on here

Just reading through Lynn's first technique challenge on the technique board and wanted to ask about the Black Stazon. I'm assuming because you're attempting to stamp on acetate or transparency paper that this product ensures your image stays put, but do you also need to use this product if you want to stamp on vellum?

I've never tried vellum stamping but thought I might try a variation of the challenge Lynn posted using vellum (since I have that on hand) and see what comes out.

You can stamp on vellum with regular ink, but any ink on vellum does take longer to dry. So be careful! I have used StazOn on vellum when I plan to color the image to ensure that it doesn't run at all. I have also embossed on vellum for that same reason.

I like Brilliance ink for stamping on vellum - seems to give a good crisp result (but do leave it a while to dry if you try it). Vellum is not nearly as 'slick' a surface as acetate so you don't absolutely need Stazon.

I really like the idea of embossing on the vellum, and since I have all the supplies for that I'm going to give it a try Thanks for the suggestion.
