Default Bag topper template?

Afternoon Ladies!

I am in need of a template to make toppers for the handled bags. I guess it's kind-of like a box top, you just slip it over the handles.

If anyone has one to share, I'd surely appreciate it!

Thanks in advance!

I don't use a template - because so many bags, so many different sizes.

I just measure how far down I want my topper to come over the bag. Double that measurement.

Measure the width of the bag and add half an inch to an inch for each side. Cut the card stock, fold it in half (I always mess up on this part and fold it the wrong way! Hold it up to the bag so you can be sure to fold it the right way).

Open up the cardstock and use a craft knife to make a slit right on top of the fold long enough to get the handles thru.

It's really very easy and hope these instructions are clearer than mud.
