HI there. Why are you using reinkers instead of an ink pad? I used tiny bubbles and just patted them down with my ink pad. Then you can lay the paper right onto the bubbles and it works great. I saw a card here on SC and it looked like a honeycomb so I had to try it!! I hope this helps!!

do you have a link to that card by any chance. I am totally unfamiliar with the background bubble technique and have no clue what you are talking about :oops:

Here's a link to my one and only entry in the gallery where I used the bubble technique for a swap. You have to use glossy paper. I explained it in the comments section.
I didn't even use a brayer like she says, I just patted the ink pad right on the bubble wrap, layed my paper on it and pressed a little and Whala(sp?)...

i learned how to add color to dishwashing soap bubbles and used a straw to blow the bubbles, then lay your paper on top and pop the bubbles...then it doesn't get too wet...
I am doing the technique where I actually blow the bubbles.
I mixed the reinker right in with the bubble mixture- color is good but it just seems like I'm getting the paper to wet. I will try touching the paper to the bubbles instead of letting them fall on the paper.
Put a dime sze amount of liquid dish soap in small container and add about 2 inches of water. Blow bubbles till they come out the top of the container. Then drop a couple drops of the reinker on the bubbles and then touch glossy card stock to the bubbles. You can use several containers and do as many colors on the paper as you want.
I am soooooo slow. :oops: I thought we were talking about bubbles ... like the ones you blow through the wand. We'll have to make up a technique using those - I've got a few bottles laying around from various weddings :P
