Question Baby Wipes???

I have read in several gallery descriptions that baby wipes were used. Can someone help me out? Used for what other than cleaning your stamps?
I'm curious.
TIA,
Mary

Hi - I don't know if it is considered an "official" technique, but I use baby wipes to create a watercolored background on my card stock. Since the baby wipe is already wet I dab it into a little puddle of ink and then smear it onto the paper. It is super simple. I'll try to attach a sample.

Hope that helps -
Cyn;)

I don't know how to add links, so I'll just suggest that you click on "search", type in "baby wipe technique" and read through the threads - lots of good info. Have fun...it's a great background technique!

Default Wet wipes

Lay a wet wipe in a dish (old meat tray or pie pan will work) and use two or three reinkers and drip around randomly on the wet wipe and they will bleed together. This will act as your stamp pad and it'll work best with a solid image stamp.

Also if you use wet wipes like I do to wipe your stamps off and the colors blend well together just take advantage of it and design a few card background from it before you throw it out.
