Default aqua painter - ink

i've seen lots of video where they are using the aqua painter with SU ink pads or SU markers...can you use any other kind of ink or markers...thanks so much :p

Since the aqua painter uses water, you can use any water-base marker, but not the alcohol based ones, like Copic, Sharpie, Bics.

As far as the inks go, I wouldn't use pigment inks or solvent inks like Stazon, but dye inks should work.

You're welcome. Yes, we are neighbors. Once in a while I see conventions posted for Tulsa, but I've never attended one. I'll bet it would be fun to see all the new stuff before it gets to the stores.

I do a lot of looking and shopping online, and try to keep up that way. Also, everyone on this board is really good about letting us know about the latest and greatest in the stamping world!

The water pens work well with dye inks. Here's a site that lists stamp/scrap shows: Scrapbook Conventions or Expos
