Default Altered Girl Scout Tin

I have a Girl Scout tin that had Meltaways in it and I'd like to alter it. Does anyone have any suggestions or dimensions that I'd need? Do I have to used Mod Podge or can I use Sticky strip tape?
Thanks,
Melissa

It's Girl Scout Beginnings with Juliette Gordon Low on it. It looks like a hinged book.

You should be able to measure the tin to get the dimensions of paper needed. I would recommend ModPodge. I think if you use Sticky Strip, you might see the lines of the tape plus ModPodge really seals all of the paper to the tin.
