I tried to make an acetate Christmas Card. I stamped it with Versamark and then put the embossing powder on it, but when I tried to emboss it, it just burnt. Is there a special kind of acetate that I should be using. I took the one we had at the office.

I think Hero Arts sells blank Acetate cards in a pack. They are the ones that are used by many when demonstrating embossing on acetate if I am not wrong.
I did that before and you just have to make sure that you keep a good distance from the acetate and keep your heat tool moving. If you do that (and if you are not fraid to loose a bit of acetate when it goes wrong) it will work with any kind of plastic you want.
