Default 9 nuggets Nugget Box

A number of people have asked for the directions for the 9 nuggets Nugget Box I made:

Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Here are the dimensions I used:
Cover: 9 x 5
Measuring along the 5 edge, score parallel to the 12 side at 1 , 2 1/8, 3 5/8, and 4 . Fold on scores.

Inside Box: 12 x 4
Measuring along the 4 side, score parallel to the 12 side at , 1 , 10 , and 11 . Measuring along the 12 side, score at 1 on both ends. Cut out the rectangle formed at each corner by the scores. Cut along the and 11 scores to where they meet the 1 scores.

There are several good sets of directions for the smaller boxes in the Techniques Forum. Here are links to a couple you can use as a guide using my larger dimensions:

I used 1 x 3 labels to wrap around the nuggets.

Im so thrilled people liked the box enough to want to do it themselves! Have fun!

Thank you for sharing the instructions for the 9 Nugget Box.
This looks like fun. I am sure I will be using this often.

OK, I'll be the silly one. I thought you were referring to a McNugget box. I guess I should eat something, huh?

I was PMed by someone who was having trouble making the sliding box part, and when I went back and read the measurements I gave for the 100th time, I FINALLY realized that they are incorrect (SORRY). They should be:

Inside Box: 12” x 4”
Measuring along the 4” side, score parallel to the 12” side at , 1 , 2 , and 3 . Measuring along the 12” side, score at 1 ” on both ends. Cut out the rectangle formed at each corner by the scores. Cut along the ” and 11 ” scores to where they meet the 1 ” scores.

I had mistakenly subtracted the 1/2 and 1 1/4 scores from the 12" length instead of the 4" length (I score messuring from each end at 1/2 and 1 1/4 not measuring 1/2, 1 1/4, 2 3/4 and 3 1/2 from one end). I'm sorry for any confussion and frustration I may have caused anyone. If you have any problems with the instructions, please ask and I'll try to help.
