Question 6x6 Mini Album

I just realized I posted this in the wrong area before, I hadn't backed out far enough...Sorry!

I hope someone can help me find a template for a mini album. It uses 2 12x12 sheets which are scored so there are 4 6x6 squares. One square from one page is glued to 1 square from the other then, 2 of the 6x6 squares are scored and the whole thing can then be folded into a 6x6 album. You would attach a cover to the front and back.
I hope you understand what I am describing, it is a really pretty album, but very hard to describe!
Thanks
Char

Sounds like a larger version of the accordion book. You can add as many pages as you like.

Thanks Rogergfam, I checked out the accordian books...I'll have to give them a try, not quite what I'm looking for but will be beautiful!
Thanks again!

I think this is called a Squash Book. I have made these before as baby gifts. You can make this book using any square piece of cardstock. I have seen instructions on the internet somewhere, just can't remember where. I know that each square is scored in half both ways and again on one diagonal. Most books I have seen only use three squares with two pieces of heavy cardboard covered with decorative paper and attached for covers and a ribbon sandwiched between the cover and one of the squares to hold it together. Does this make sense? It's hard to explain!

If you look in the Gallery under Anything But A Card, then under mini books or albums, and squash books, you will find several examples and a tutorial. HTH

I think what may have happened with the above link is that some Geocity sites only allow a certain amount of traffic - we probably have bombarded it - LOL!

I did a site search - following is what I came up with:
squash books in Splitcoaststampers Gallery
Squash Book visual directions

Hope this helps
